If you have never asked yourself this question, it will necessarily come knocking on your door quickly. Indeed, whatever the size of your company, an inevitable element accompanies any digitization: the increase in the volume of data to be processed. And when you talk about increasing data, you talk about increasing the security standards related to that data.

According to Symantec, by 2014, 41% of phishing attempts were directed to large companies (more than 2,500 employees), 25% to medium-sized companies (250 to 2,500 employees) and 34% to small companies (less than 250 employees).

In an increasingly cloud-based environment, every organization in the digitization phase is faced with the choice of tools to use. A multitude of platforms are emerging every day, many applications (cloud or not) are available to us for ever more specific needs. However, a question not to be overlooked in the choice of its environment will be the interoperability between the tools.

Long considered as a separate department, IT should now be an integral part of the management board, just like human resources, the Marketing or Sales department. Other worrying data: as many as 317 million malware were created in 2014. And in 50% of cases, between the loss of equipment, the violation of internal policies, the sharing of confidential information,… we realize that the staff is the cause of these cyber attacks.

So did you still doubt the importance of the information and training given to staff at all levels of the organization?

And when your IT security strategy has been thought through, integrating information and data protection, network and operating system security, interoperability issues,… how do you solve the problem of sharing and collaboration with partners?

These partners, who, even if they are also well protected against any attack, have certainly, in view of their needs, made different choices than yours.

Several solutions will be available to you: the implementation of a common platform (efficiency quid), the sharing of your document management tool with dedicated space (logins management quid), email (tracking and security quid),…

In short, there is currently no tool on the market that allows efficient collaboration with partners by maintaining your degree of autonomy and respecting your choices in terms of security and tools.

Rather, we should write that there was no solution to address this issue until now. Indeed, Cooperlink was created for this purpose and it perfectly meets this need.
